The quality of this Gucci Marmont Camera Yellow bag is amazing; I’ve been using it for a few months now, and there’s practically no sign of wear and tear (touch wood). The leather is super soft, but it’s also surprisingly durable, with shallow scratches able to be gently buffed out. That doesn’t mean you can just throw it around and expect it to be fine, and it’s definitely not as durable as some tougher leathers, but I’m definitely happy with how my bag is holding up.
I just want to start this off by saying that I know $1,215 is crazy money for a bag, especially such a tiny one – but considering the typical price of a designer handbag, and the considerable price jump between this bag and the rest of the Marmont range, I really think the mini bag is quite good value for money, especially if you have your heart set on a designer bag. Once you factor in the durability and practicality of this bag, I really do consider it to be worth the price tag.
